Ten Years Ago

I was trying to make low-budget films in Tampa and trying to make Florida Hollywood East.  What a jackass idea.

I was also suckered into producing a film, rewriting the script, and getting screwed by a conman and his movie in Tampa.  Both of these things burned the desire to direct right out of me.

Five Things on Today’s To-do List

1. Get Astonishing Adventures Magazine 3 formatted for Amazon.

2. Read another chapter in the 1400 page "Journey to the West: The Tale of the Monkey King"

3. Get all introspective and try to figure out how to change the world.

4. Try to relieve some of the damn stress from the day job

5. Examine 3 again because I really need to do something to change the world.

If I Were a Billionaire

1.  I would fund research developing habitual home underwater.

2.  Fund research to develop fields of turbine, solar, and nuclear energy production.

3.  Fund education programs and think tanks to promote stem cell research, longevity drugs, free internet, Obama.

4.  Secretly fund assault teams to remove hard targets such as Thailand and South American children slavery trade and death squads - my list is long.

4a. I believe in the law and I believe in justice.  I did not become a lawyer because the two rarely meet.  This quote from Serenity sums up how I feel about the world.

The Operative: "It's not my place to ask. I believe in something greater than myself. A better world. A world without sin."

Capt. Malcolm Reynolds: "So me and mine gotta lay down and die... so you can live in your better world?"

The Operative: "I'm not going to live there. There's no place for me there... any more than there is for you. Malcolm... I'm a monster.What I do is evil. I have no illusions about it, but it must be done."

5.  This one is selfish and for me.  I would use the money to wander the world like Bruce Wayne looking for answers that would sooth and heal my soul.
